Whiplash Compensation
Hands up anyone who if they were suddenly promoted to Prime minister, would ban cars on the streets of the UK. Yes there will be some, mostly over the age of sixty five, I guess for whom driving has got a little shall we say, exciting.
Despite all the congestion, pollution and danger associated with the auto car, we would be loath to give up the car completely. On the other hand I also guess that most people would suggest some changes to the way cars are used. We see too many cars used for daily commutes to work containing only the driver. We see cars used for short journeys to school by mums. There may be good reason for this such as poor commuter service and in the case of school runs, the roads are simply too dangerous for what I did as a kid. I cycled to school. Perhaps the one aspect we see too little criticism off is the number of accidents on the roads. If the death toll was from any other source we would all be up in arms asking for something to be done.
Because they result from the modern day status symbol and object of worship, we let it continue. Yes car companies have done a lot to help by fitting seatbelts, front crumple zones, airbags and the like as well as improving the general safety of the handling. Governments have curtailed drinking and driving. The accidents continue, however.
Unfortunately I have no real solutions and neither am I the prime minister. Also I have a natural aversion to pessimism. I guess I’m like most other people as I climb into my car and enter the traffic, driving around with an invincible air, believing that it is other people that should not be on the road and not me.
The point of this article however is that most people are aware of the dangers of the roads and other problems, but seem not to give it a second thought. The sad truth is that the likelihood of being involved in an accident is high and also most people would not be aware of the implication of being involved in an accident. Many people drive around with as little insurance as possible. Those that are fully insured are confident that their policy will cover all their costs if they are involved in an incident. I hope they are right. I would like to point out, however, that insurance companies are, like most corporations, more interested in their profits, than they are in your family’s welfare. They have large legal departments packed full of lawyers with one purpose, and that is to pay out as little in compensation as is legally possible. If you, in the event of being involved in an incident believe you were short changed, what would you do?
We operate a car and vehicle accident claims service. We are in business to level up the playing field for the ordinary man in the street. We also have a large legal department, but our no win no fee solicitor who works in our department is devoted to obtaining maximum levels of compensation for our customers.
We not only get involved in major incidents, but also do our best to help in minor ones as well. In the case of a whiplash injury, many people are not aware that it is possible to submit a whiplash claim for Whiplash compensation. They may think that the torn neck ligament is nothing more than a stiff neck which will wear off after a few days. For this reason many whiplash claims are not submitted. Insurance companies are in no hurry to inform their clients of this.
